Operation Joshua was birthed out of the desire to see the entire nation of Greece being reached for Christ. Following the success of Operation Gideon 1 and 2, which reached out to 80 Greek islands giving out a total of 80,000 Bibles in 2004 and 2006, Hellenic Ministries turned its eyes towards the mainland, determined to put at least one Bible in every Greek home.

Area of 800,000 People / 4 per house = 200,000 Bibles.
200,000 Bibles / 5 days of outreach = 40,000 Bibles per day.
40,000 people / 200 participants = 200 Bibles per person each day.
