Although Hellenic Ministries is expanding its discipleship ministries through Sports Camps, which have consumed most of the summer season, we see that there is a need to go back to the original legacy and calling of evangelism.
In the past, Hellenic Ministries has canvassed the nation for over 25 years without missing a single summer of evangelistic outreaches with the help of young people and numerous local churches. But now we must consider a different strategy - one of reaching the entire nation of Greece through a united interdenominational strategy.
Everyone in every city, town and village needs to be presented with the Gospel, and also to be made aware of what the evangelical community is doing through this organized united outreach that will literally sweep Greece like a wild fire.
With this in mind, Hellenic Ministries together with partner churches and ministries will carry out a five year long evangelistic strategy denominated, Operation Joshua.
Greece has yet to see the affects of a ravaging fire of God's love and blessing sweep the country. Operation Joshua desires to be a united embrace of God's people for this, God's land. Johnathan Macris
